Description
D’loop makes jeans from exceptional 16 oz. selvedge organic denim.
Why are they special?
We use yarns that are dyed with only natural indigo (derived from the Indigofera Tinctoria plant), have been woven in Japan on vintage, 31“ wide Japanese shuttle looms and double sanforised.
We do that because Japan is one of the last places in the world that still produces organic selvedge denim – the highest grade material that can be used to manufacture jeans.
Why 16 oz.?
Originally durable “workwear” was made using at least 16 oz. denim. D’loop jeans are too, making them as sturdy and long lasting. However, thanks to the natural colouring and high quality, hand-picked cotton that we make them with, they are not stiff or uncomfortable – perfect for everyday use.
